update-dbs

With the Starbuntu program update-dbs, which requires root privileges, updates of the following databases can be carried out:

• Bootloader (grub2)
  
  
• Locations of files (mlocate)
  
  
• Man pages
  
  
• MIME Types
  
  
• Splash Screen (plymouth)
  
  
• Upgradable packages (apt)
